Victorian Lodging at Black Jack's Inn

Victorian lady in the mirror

You will be magically transported back in time as you ascend the staircase to our five beautifully appointed rooms and cozy Victorian parlor.

Each room is elegantly decorated with antique furniture and period details, and features a full, private bath.

Entryway to the InnUpon awakening from a restful night's sleep and enjoying fresh pastries, fruit and coffee, take a leisurely morning stroll through our historic downtown district, have a hearty breakfast at one of our local eateries, and admire Trinidad's stunning Victorian architecture. You'll see many of the very same buildings that were once seen through the eyes of such frontier legends as Bat Masterson, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, and of course, Black Jack.

Be sure to browse through Trinidad's many galleries, specialty shops, and fine museums during your stay. Pamper yourself with a luxurious massage, tanning session, and other day spa amenities. After that, take a relaxing drive through southern Colorado's matchless scenic countryside, where Rocky Mountain wildlife and spectacular wilderness vistas abound.

Click on any of the bronze door plaques below for views of our different rooms. You'll notice that four of the rooms have ladies' names; we'll leave the reason for that to your imagination (hint: it has something to do with the rather bawdy history of Black Jack's Inn!).
